April is all booked with some of the best events for people of all ages and people of all tastes. Here, we have chalked out a few of these so you may book ahead and enjoy April as much as you can with your family and friends. The list goes:
Disney On Ice Frozen:
We simply can’t get enough of the gorgeous Snow Queen Elsa, her beautiful sister Anna and their adorable snowman Olaf. Let’s not forget the handsome stud Kristoff, his faithful reindeer Sven and the Trolls that just grow on you. Ever since Disney’s Frozen hit the ice rinks as part of the Disney On Ice series, it has been appreciated by millions of fans above and especially below four feet of height. Disney On Ice Frozen takes the audience onto a brilliantly choreographed version of the animated movie featuring the best of the best skaters as the Frozen characters. This ice rink adaptation is surely a wonderful treat for the young ones and all Disney enthusiasts. For the month of April, the ice show will be hitting venues in cities such as San Antonio, Minneapolis, Houston, Hidalgo and New Orleans. Kevin Hart:
Kevin Hart is one of the most lauded standup comedians of the time. His latest ‘WHAT NOW? Tour’ is ready to kick off in April at San Antonio, Texas. It is one of the biggest comedy tours in North American history with stops at forty five cities in Canada and the US. The tour will also take him to the esteemed Madison Square Garden in NYC. Another milestone for Hart is becoming the first comedian to headline an NFL stadium at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The award-winning comedy genius has made his mark in showbiz working alongside notable celebrities on television, cinema and stage. Some of these titles include The Wedding Ringer, Real Husbands of Hollywood, Ride Along 2, Get Hard and his previous tours ‘Laugh At My Pain’ and ‘Let Me Explain’. For April, Kevin Hart will be highlighting venues in San Antonio, Little Rock, Oklahoma City, Uncasville and Orlando among others. Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus:
The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus has never strayed far from tradition that has stood the test of time for almost a century. With each year, they have reinvented and revamped their performances according to the taste of the time. The undeterred dedication of their hardworking team of creative artists have kept the iconic big tops filled with awe and appreciation from millions of fans. Their repertoire includes a long list of endurance acts, majestic beasts, magnificent big cats, slapstick clowns and oriental acrobats. For the month of April, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus will be touring three shows under three banners. The ALL-New Blue Tour will bring the Legends to cities such as Baltimore, Fairfax, Charleston and Albany. The ALL-New Gold Tour will hit Allentown, Tupelo, Southaven, Jackson and Cape Girardeau with Built to Amaze. The Circus Extreme will headline as the ALL-New Red Tour in Columbia, Norfolk, Hampton, Columbus and Providence. So pack up, take your family and friends for what is rightfully dubbed ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’!
Monster Energy AMA Supercross:
The racing world is incomplete without the adrenaline-fueled Monster Energy AMA Supercross. This off-road motorcycle racing takes the challengers to a dirt track setup. This track challenges their skill at maneuvering around obstacles while racing against time. With a history of champions spanning four decades, this popular auto sports event has become one of the most watched events in North America. The Monster Energy AMA Supercross is a gift of the spring for motor heads all across the states. For April, the AMA Supercross will hit two destinations in the West and one in the East. NRG Stadium in Houston and Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco will host the event on the western front. On the Atlantic side, the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey will get dirt, rubber and engine roars in ample supply for all the fans of Supercross.
Dave Chappelle: 110
Celebrated as Comedy Central’s ‘the 100 Greatest Standups of All Time’, Dave Chappelle is indeed a comedian celebrated worldwide. Blue comedy, black comedy, observational comedy, character comedy, improv comedy, sketch comedy; you name it and Chappelle has done it! Renowned internationally for his Chappelle’s Show, he is now hitting major arenas in the US for his latest comedy tour. Abraham Chavez Theater, ACL Live, Ryman Auditorium and River Center for the Performing Arts are some of his show stops for April. He will also be visiting the Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater, Ruth Eckerd Hall, Tabernacle, Alabama Theater and the Fillmore Detroit. Spring is going to be one busy season for Dave. Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood:
Garth Brooks is among the top three best-selling US music artists of all time with a hundred ninety million records in sales. His accolades list two Grammy Awards, seventeen American Music Awards and numerous others. The country music artist has an equally exceptional spouse Trisha Yearwood. She is a three time Grammy winner who has made a name for herself in the country music scene as well as being an all-rounder showbiz celebrity. The power couple are now out on their ‘The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood’. The second North American leg of the headlining tour is bringing them to Sacramento, Portland and State College for April. Sleep Train Arena, Moda Center and Bryce Jordan Center, respectively, will host the country couple in these cities. The set list will showcase some of their best hits including Garth’s chart-toppers “That Summer” and “Shameless.” Trisha will be performing her number one singles such as “She’s in Love with the Boy” and “XXX’s and OOO’s (An American Girl).” Together, the husband and wife will be charming the audience with their Grammy-winning duet “In Another’s Eyes.” Whether you’re a country lover or a music enthusiast, head on to Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood show for this delightful experience of a lifetime.
Ariana Grande & Rixton:
Critics are calling Ariana Grande ‘the new Mariah Carey’ for her sensational voice that has already provided her with two chart-topping albums on the Billboard 200. The early tweenager has won widespread acclaim for her style, image, fashion and music labeling her as the pop queen of the time. Last summer, she released her second album My Everything which was followed by the world tour titled ‘The Honeymoon Tour’. Now in April 2015, she will be headlining eight cities including Seattle, Dallas, Phoenix, Oklahoma City and Vancouver. For the performances, she will be supported by opening band Rixton who hail from the British Isles. The pop boy band will play music from their debut album Let the Roadwhereas Grande will promote her two studio albums. Wicked:
Over a decade ago, the theater world was introduced to a pre-Dorothy era of the Land of Oz through Wicked. Since then, the musical has garnered quite a few accolades including three Tony Awards and seven Drama Desk Awards. With Stephen Schwartz’s music and lyrics and Winnie Holzman’s book, Wicked has broken and set many records in the US and worldwide. Once the audience enters the theater, they’re swept off their feet to Oz where Elphaba and Glinda become friends. Despite both of them being witches, they win the hearts of the audience with a bond that surpasses love and magic. In April, Wicked will have an engaging run on Broadway at the Gershwin Theater. The touring cast will however bring the show to the Hippodrome Theater in Baltimore and the Schuster Center in Dayton.
