Post-punk idols, The Cure have been around on the music scene for nearly four decades and the good news for fans is that the band shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. This English rock act may not have been very active in recent years but that’s soon going to change with their upcoming 2016 tour. That’s right Cure fans, your favorite act will be hitting the road soon and it’s not all the news we have.
Enter the Twilight Sad
Ever heard of the Twilight Sad? It’s an up-and-coming Scottish, post punk act that has only been around on the music scene for over a decade and is already creating a few waves. The story goes that earlier this year, The Cure front man and Twilight Sad fan Robert Smith covered their single “There’s a Girl in the Corner” and the Twilight Sad are now expected to open for the Cure on six dates of their upcoming tour. Cult-icons The Cure will be hitting the road on a twenty-five date US Tour during the summer of 2016. This will be the first big tour for the band since 2008. Shows for the legendary Hollywood Bowl and Madison Square Garden have already been announced, with three consecutive dates at the end of May for the former venue and two in June for the latter.
Tickets are now up for grabs at our website with average ticket prices for the six Twilight Sad featuring concerts ranging from $213 to $416. Currently, the opening show at MSG on June 18 is fetching the lowest average price with a get-in price of $42. Conversely, the June 10 show at UIC Pavilion in Chicago is listed at the highest price of $416.
