In its 49th year, the quintet recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of 1973’s breakthrough album “The Joker” and kicked off a solo tour in May. The North American trek will be gaining momentum in June and shows will continue till October. There is also an announcement of Steve Miller Band extending its co-headlining tour with Journey and Tower of Power. This joint trek celebrates 60s’, 70s’ and 80s’ music heritage and follows “San Francisco Fest” theme.
Fronted by Steve Miller, the band continues to solidifying its place as one of the most in-demand pop/rock ensembles. At the peak of its career, Steve Miller Band tickets are recording huge sales for the ongoing tour. Inspiring fans for decades with its rousing, unique brand of rock ‘n’ roll, the band enjoys immense support which is evident even today. The average price of tickets for its 34 upcoming shows is $193 and a capacity crowd is expected in most events.
According to ExciteEvents, the most expensive concert on this summer trek will take place on June 26 in Montreal. Hosted by the Salle Wilfrid Pelletier – Place Des Arts, tickets are averaged at $313. June 4 event in Midland is also high priced, with tickets available for $312.
Heading into numerous cities, there are some shows that have low priced tickets which include performances in Corpus Christi, Lewiston and Grand Prairie. On ExciteEvents, the average ticket price for the three cities is $63, $66 and $98, respectively.
The masterful guitar riffs by the band bring the crowd to its feet and they are completely fired up by the hit tracks “Come On and Dance”, “Take the Money and Run”, and “Fly Like an Eagle”. Steve Miller Band is also slated to perform with Matthew Curry, Don Felder and Buddy Guy.
