King of Bachata Takes Victory Lap with “Vol. 2 World Tour”
Latin superstar Romeo Santos is on cloud nine these days. He recently enjoyed a clean sweep at the Billboard Latin Music Awards as he took home 10 awards, including the big one “Artist of the Year”. His second album “Formula Vol. 2” has placed him on the cusp of a pop crossover triumph and he has put to rest all doubts about his talent.
On May 21 the King of Bachata set out on his victory lap and started the second leg of his “Vol. 2 World Tour”. An extension of his 2014 trek, Rolling Stone placed it on its “Summer 2014’s hottest tours” list. For two nights in a row, Romeo Santos recorded sold out shows at the Yankee Stadium where more than 80,000 fans showed up to watch the expert of seductive “bachata” live. He will now continue from where he left off and Romeo Santos tickets demand is soaring.
Currently 27 shows are lined up in America and on ExciteEvents average tickets price for his concerts is $242. Santos will also be coming to Tampa for the first time and tickets price for his June 19 concert at the Amalie Arena is averaged at $229.
The tour will roll into Mashantucket on June 27, which is also the most expensive stop on the artist’s first solo journey. According to ExciteEvents, average ticket price for the show is $374 but judging from the sales, The Grand Theater at Foxwoods is expected to be jam-packed. Pepsi Center will host the second most expensive event on June 14, ticket price averaged at $369.
The sexy crooner has three concerts lined up in Brooklyn from July 10 to 12. Barclays Center will come alive with his hit numbers like “Promise” and “You”. Ticket price for all three dates vary as July 12 show is averaged at $311, whereas tickets for the first two are available for $227 and $255, respectively.
Santos is not done yet. In an interview he revealed that once the tour ends in August he will hit the studio and churn out more number one songs. So fans should expect more of his romantic dance rhythms laced with R&B and hip-hop.
