James Blake has revealed plans for his upcoming tour, titled “Playing Robots Into Heaven”
The Grammy-winning producer, James Blake will be embarking on an eight-date tour across North America in October of 2023 to promote his forthcoming album.. The tour will include stops in Atlanta, Queens, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Prior to this North American leg, James Blake will be performing in Europe.
His highly anticipated sixth studio album, also titled “Playing Robots Into Heaven,” is set to be released on September 8th, 2023 through Republic Records. This album follows his previous releases, “Wind Down” in 2022 and “Friends That Break Your Heart” in 2021, which peaked at #75 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album features notable guest appearances from artists such as SZA, JID, and Monica Martin.
In recent years, James Blake has been actively touring, with his “Friends That Break Your Heart Tour” taking him across North America and Europe. He was supported by Fousheé and KHUSHI during these tours. Notably, in 2014, he received Grammy Award nominations for Best New Artist and was also nominated for British Male Solo Artist at the Brit Awards.
