Hella Mega Tour’s Concert & Tour History

It really doesn’t get much better than this if you love rock music. There is a major stadium tour coming up in the summer of 2020 and you can enjoy that by getting Hella Mega Tour tickets. Celebrated rock bands Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy are combining to bring you a co-headlining world stadium tour in 2020. Titled Hella Mega Tour, it will kick off with the European leg in June. It will be followed immediately afterwards by the North American leg in July and August. Ska punk act The Interrupters will open all the shows for the length of the tour. Green Day

Founded in 1986, multi-Grammy winning band Green Day are often credited as being one of the bands which got the punk rock music scene off the ground in the United States. They are best known for hits like “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” “When I Come Around,” “Basket Case,” “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” and “Holiday” among others.

Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy came into being in Chicago in 2001. They are mostly characterized as a pop punk act. The group cites popular emo act The Get Up Kids as one of its biggest influences.

Fall Out Boy released their debut album Take This to Your Grave in 2003. Other records include From Under the Cork Tree (2005), Infinity on High (2007), Folie à Deux (2008), Save Rock and Roll (2013), American Beauty/American Psycho (2015) and Mania (2018).

Hailing from Los Angeles, Weezer was established in 1992. The band is best known for the singles “Buddy Holly,” “Hash Pipe,” “Beverly Hills,” “Perfect Situation” and “Pork and Beans” among others. They released their debut album Weezer (Blue Album) in 1994.

Other critically and commercially successful records from Weezer include Pinkerton, Make Believe, Weezer (Green Album), Maladroit, and Weezer (Red Album). They are winners of the Grammy Award and multiple MTV Video Music Awards.

The Interrupters

Ska punk act The Interrupters was set up in 2011 in Los Angeles. Their lineup consists of Aimee Allen aka Aimee Interrupter (lead vocalist), Justin Bivona (bassist), Jesse Bivona (drummer) and Kevin Bivona (guitarist).

The Interrupters are best known for the singles “Gave You Everything” and “She’s Kerosene.” They released their eponymous debut album in 2014. Other releases include Say It Out Loud (2016) and Fight the Good Fight (2018).
