Compton Rapper YG Announce 2023 North American Tour

Hailing from Compton, the 32-year-old rapper YG has announced “The Red Cup Tour 2023”. Hitting the road in support of his sixth album “I Got Issues” that came out in September 2022, the hip-hop star will perform in multiple cities, spanning from January till February 2023. Kicking off the trek from Denver on January 20, YG will rock the stage in Garden City, Vancouver, Portland, Inglewood, Detroit, Toronto, and Boston, among others. The trek will wrap up on February 23, 2023 in Honolulu. Joining the tour as the special guests will be OhGeesy, Kalan.frfr, Day Sulan, and D3szn.

YG Details His 2023 North American Tour

 Quite a decorated 6th album featuring some of the biggest names in hip-hop, YG roped in Mozzy, D3szn, Duki, J. Cole, Cuco, Moneybagg Yo, Roddy Ricch, H.E.R., Nas, and Post Malone. The 14-track album cracked the Billboard 200 charts and showcased crisp songwriting, and infectious energy. Featuring innovative tracks as well as kickass anthems, the song “Scared Money” features collaboration with J. Cole and Moneybagg Yo and soars as an arena rap number. The rap collaboration is highlighted by upbeat flow and playful beats, making it an enjoyable track. On the single “I Dance”, the stunning infusion of acoustic guitars and YG’s vocal delivery makes it standout. The track “Issues” is driven by trap music; whereas, “Alone” is a slick, G-funk staple.
