Coldplay Extends World Tour – Announces 2023 UK & European Dates
Coldplay have added a multiple 2023 European and UK dates to their epic “Music of the Spheres World Tour”. The official trek kicked off on March 18, 2022 and now concerts will take place through July 19, 2023. The newly announced European leg will be the tour’s fifth and start on May 17, 2023 from Coimbra, Portugal. Coldplay will also stop in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands, along with additional shows in the UK. Manchester and Cardiff are both included in the itinerary and it has made their fans go crazy. The extension came at the helm of British rock band’s sold-out gigs at the London’s Wembley Stadium that included six back-to-back concerts.

One of the best-selling tours of 2022, “Music of the Spheres World Tour” received amazing response during its North American run as Coldplay performed in front of packed crowd. In fact, capacity crowd filled big stadiums like the FedExField, State Farm Stadium, MetLife Stadium, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and several others.
The tour is in support of Coldplay’s ninth album “Music of the Spheres” that reached top five on the Billboard 200 and topped the Billboard Rock charts. “Higher Power” became the standout single, earning a nomination at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. The ambitious album that earned a lot of acclaim, features collaboration with Selena Gomez for the song “Let Somebody Go”, We Are King and Jacob Collier for the track “Human Heart”, and “My Universe” featured BTS.
Coldplay Delivers Stadium Showmanship
The “Music of the Spheres World Tour” will soon embark on its South American leg that officially begins on September 10, 2022 from Brazil. Coldplay will be taking its chartbusting music to Peru, Colombia, and Chile, before wrapping up the fourth leg in Argentina on November 8, 2022.
