Chris Cornell Announces 2015 Solo Acoustic North American Tour

Chris Cornell is ready to hit the road along with his legendary vocal chords. Soundgarden frontman will soon treat the fans to his latest solo album scheduled for September release, after which he will embark on North American tour. The solo acoustic jaunt will kick off on September 20 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. The grunge rock icon will then head north along the West Coast before crossing into Canada. His tour bus will be driving through the northern Midwest, the Northeastern, also snaking into the South and finally wrapping up the trek in Austin City Limits on November 2.

Cornell’s fifth solo album “Higher Truth” is produced by Brendan O’Brien and promises a similar brand of expressive intimacy. The godfather of grunge acts will celebrate the release of his album by performing stripped back versions of his hit songs along with some fresh tracks. Chris Cornell tickets have gone on sale on ExciteEvents and complete information is available of his itinerary. So far a total of 32 shows are planned in the US and Canada, average ticket price stated as $186.

On September 29, Cornell will bring his infectious rock music to Seattle’s Benaroya Hall which is the most expensive stop on the docket. The average ticket price for the concert is as high as $512. The second most expensive event will take place on September 27 in Modesto, ticket averaging at $307.

As Chris Cornell brings songs from across his illustrious career to San Pedro on September 21, fans in the city can attend the event by buying tickets at an average price of $117. This is one of the cheapest shows on the tour. The award winning artist took the rock music lovers by storm with his previous “Songbook Tour” and sold out arenas in North America, New Zealand and Australia.

 

The fans will get to enjoy Cornell being truly honest with the music and tirelessly performing one song after the song from his complete oeuvre as well as throwing in a few surprise covers.
