Zac Brown Band All Set for Its “Jekyll + Hyde” Summer Tour
The wait is over for eager fans as the three times Grammy Award winning band has kicked off its highly anticipated North American trek this May. The Zac Brown Band started the journey on May 1 from the music city Nashville, with guest performances by Jewel, Bela Fleck, Kid Rock and Drake White. The tour is expected to wrap up in November at the West Palm Beach in Florida. The extravagant trek is in support of its sixth studio album “Jekyll + Hyde” and will also feature The Avett Brothers as an opening act in its Philadelphia show.
The Atlanta based octet is scheduled to perform at various cities throughout North America with one performance slated at London’s Wembley Arena on September 25, to be opened by Imelda May. Fans are apparently going crazy with excitement buying Jekyll + Hyde Tour tickets at any price they can get. Besides headlining its own tour, The Zac Brown Band will also appear in some festivals. On September 18, it will head to KaaBoo Festival also featuring No Doubt and The Killers. A popular festival, the average ticket price for the event on ExciteEvents is as high as $466.
ExciteEvents has quoted the band’s most expensive tour performances on November 6 and 7, taking place in Dallas and Spring, respectively. Fans will have to pay an average price of $401 to attend the concert at Gexa Energy Pavilion and $303 for The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion show.
On the other hand, country music lovers planning to attend Bangor and Darien Center concerts are lucky since tickets have been selling at an all time low price, averaging at $117 for June 7 event at the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion and $153 for the concert at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center on August 8.. The band announced that it will donate $1 from every ticket proceed to vocalist Zac Brown’s camp for socially disturbed children. Although this might be one reason why the tickets have been selling like hot cakes, it certainly doesn’t question the band’s extensive fan-following.
