International friendlies Football Matches and the secondary tickets market’s response
This summer, there is a lot of international soccer action coming to the North America. FIFA’s Women’s World Cup and the CONCACAF Gold Cup are two of the biggest tournaments being staged in the continent this year. The World Cup, which was already begun, is being hosted by Canada, while the Gold Cup will be hosted by both the US and Canada.
As the tournament edges closer, the participating teams are ramping up preparations by playing friendlies. Not only do these games allow players some much needed game time, they also allow coaches to fine tune tactics and strategies.

The most expensive game, in terms of average ticket price, is between Mexico and Argentina at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The hype for the game is understandable, since some of the best players in the world will be playing, including four time Ballon D’Or winner, Lionel Messi. The average ticket price for the game is $186.18.
The cheapest ticket for a game, that is the lowest get in price, is $27, for the games between the US and Guatemala and Mexico and Honduras. The highest get in price is for the game between Mexico and Argentina, with the cheapest ticket going for $35.
