Prepare for a "sonic and visual extravaganza" as metal rock stars Tool hit the road alongside fellow prog y rockers Primus

Tool fans it’s time to rejoice because your favorite rock act is finally out on the road! A vehicle for the talents of prominent vocalist Maynard James Keenan, Tool boasts three Grammy wins, several worldwide tours and some chart-topping albums. Read on to find out what they have in store on their upcoming tour.
The wait is over!
Tool’s upcoming January jaunt promises to be an epic run, kicking off with two consecutive shows in San Diego and culminating in Charlotte. The hit-making quartet will get things started at the Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl on January 9. On the bill are some other notable stopovers like the AT&T Center, Bridgestone Arena, Infinite Energy Arena and BOK Center. For the final gig on January 26, Tool will make their way to the Bojangles Colisuem, Charlotte. So far only nine dates have been announced but don’t be surprised if more are forthcoming.
On their official Facebook page the band promised that their upcoming concerts will provide an “unparalleled sonic and visual experience.” There were also hints about the live stage that will be seeing the four performers “dwarfed by dramatic video projections.” That’s one way of building up anticipation, don’t you think? Oh and let’s not forget the supporting acts, the rising prog rock act Primus and the industrial group 3Teeth. It’s likely to be one of the most exciting tours in 2016, so better not miss it.
Tool & Primus tickets for the upcoming tour are now available at website averaging in the range of $182-$361. Not surprisingly, the concert at Nashville’s famous Bridgestone Arena on January 23 is chalked at one of the higher average rates at $352 with maximum price going up to $1191 and minimum get-in price as low as $11. The gig at Landers Center, Southaven is fetching the cheapest rates so far.
