One Direction Announce “On the Road Again” Tour Dates

Following the dramatic departure of teen heartthrob Zayn Malik from One Direction, the band has revealed the dates of their world tour. Now a quartet, One Direction will kick off “On the Road Again Tour” in Europe on June 5. The North American leg will stage its first show on July 9 at San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium.

Soon after Malik left the band, the remaining four members – Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Niall Horan – assured the fans that One Direction will continue with their musical journey. They also stated that they will look forward to see their diehard supporters on the next stage of their world tour.

The Directioners haven’t let down the band and Zayn’s exit hasn’t made any impact on the sales of One Direction tickets. In fact, according to ExciteEvents, at least 12 concerts in North America have an average tickets price above $400. Their September 5 concert at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal is the most expensive one, its average tickets price being $592. One Direction’s second most expensive tour stop is Baltimore. The average tickets price for their show at the M&T Bank Stadium on August 8 is $540.

The high price hasn’t stopped the fans and they are more than ready to fill the arena seats. They are also willing to pay top dollar to watch their favorite quartet live as they rock their all-time hits and new numbers.
