The Super Bowl of rodeo, the thrilling National Finals Rodeo is about to make its way to the Thomas & Mack Center for its annual festivities. The fifteen top money winners from the NFR’s seven different competitions will square off for the biggest title the sport has to offer.
The National Finals Rodeo (NFR) began proceedings way back in the year 1959 from Dallas where it remained till 1961. It then moved to Los Angeles for three years between 1962 and 1964. Oklahoma City then stepped in and made a successful bid to have the event move to the city. The NFR remained there till 1984 before Las Vegas came to the party and had its bid accepted. The NFR has been at the Thomas & Mack Center ever since.
The National Finals Rodeo has grown in stature with every year. In excess of a whopping one hundred and seventy thousand fans make their way through the gates to watch the event live during its ten day span. It will not be any different this time around and now that the tickets prices are out, fans are buying them in impressive numbers.
According to Excite Events, the highest average ticket price stands at $446.19 for the last day of the event which is December, 12, 2015. The lowest average tickets price is hovering around the $221.25 mark for December 8, 2015. As far as the get in prices are concerned, as per Excite Events, the maximum get in price right now is $140 for the second last day of the NFR on December 11, 2015. On the other hand, the lowest get in price is $68 for the seventh day which is scheduled to kick off proceedings on December 9, 2015.
The latest edition of the National Finals Rodeo is expected to the biggest of them all. It will once again not only showcase what rodeo is all about but will have a lot of other activities for fans.
