Big Celebrations Galore for the Country Music Star
2022 has been a big year for the country music sensation. It marks the 25th anniversary of her fourth and highly impactful album “Evolution”. It was the first time that she made a crossover from neotraditional country to country pop. In honor of the album, Country Music Hall of Fame is holding an exhibit titled “Martina McBride: The Power of Her Voice”. Due to the overwhelming response it received, it has now been extended till July 2023.
Live Performances & The Final Tour
Besides headlining her own holiday tour, Martina McBride is also a part of “The Judds: The Final Tour”. The mother-daughter duo, Wynonna Judd and Naomi Judd earlier announced their farewell tour but it met a tragic end when in April 2022, Naomi committed suicide after struggling with her mental health. Wynonna decided to go on with the tour and roped in stars like Martina McBride, Brandi Carlile, Little Big Town, Faith Hill, Ashley McBryde, and Trisha Yearwood to honor her mother. The Judds Concert Schedule features an 11-city run that extends through October 2022. Ending on October 26, Martina McBride will then start preparing for her Christmas spectacle.
