Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit Announce US Tour Dates
Following a series of cancellation due to Covid 19, Jason Isbell has finally released new dates for his US Tour. Along with his band The 400 Unit, Jason Isbell will hit the road on a 12-city jaunt that stretches from October 2022 till February 2023. Isbell is touring in support of his new album “Georgia Blue” that came out in 2021. Joining Jason on the tour as the supporting act will be the Nashville singer Peter One. Jason Isbell concert schedule includes stops in Nashville, Atlanta, Clearwater, Evansville, Shipshewana, Richmond, and Ashland.
A Seasoned Vocalist in Full Command of His Talent
The Americana, folk singer Jason Isbell is known for both his solo work and with his band, The 400 Unit. Before making his solo debut, he teamed up with numerous bands and artist, until he was able to stand on his own. His debut album “Sirens of the Ditch” released in 2007 and it established him as a talented acoustic singer. His first album with The 400 Unit came out in 2009 and it was a creative piece with nuance and superb clarity. Six more albums followed and in October 2021 Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit released “Georgia Blue”.
New Album & Supporting Tour
Celebrating the music of the state of Georgia, “Georgia Blue” is inspired from the alternative rock music of the 90s. Featuring a number of artists like Béla Fleck, Chris Thile, Brittney Spencer, Julien Baker, and Brandi Carlile, the album covers many of Jason’s personal favorite numbers. Reflecting diverse sounds, all hailing from the area of Georgia, the listeners are treated to R&B, soul, indie, and classic rock. The fans also get to enjoy powerful instrumental performance on the pipes by Jason as he belts out “‘I’ve Been Loving You Too Long”. A heartfelt tribute to some of the greatest artists and his most cherished tracks, “Georgia Blue” is one of his best efforts.
