The Iconic Piano Man, Billy Joel All Set for His 2015 Concerts!
Billy Joel – pop music’s ultimate piano man! A Song Writers Hall of Fame inductee, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and a Kennedy Center Honors recipient; the man has accomplished it all. As of today he is the third best selling solo artist in the United States.
The “Piano Man” singer doesn’t write songs anymore (he last released a song in 2007), but he still performs extensively. This year, the six time Grammy Award winning singer will play several dates at major venues all over the country, including Madison Square Garden, Target Center, Wrigley Field, Sprint Center, Fenway Park and AT&T Park among others.
Joel will play eight shows in New York’s historic Madison Square Garden this year, the most at any venue. Joel already shares a special connection with the Garden, since he was the first non athlete to have a retired number in the arena. The number 12 was chosen, in lieu of his unprecedented twelve sold out performances at the venue over a period of several months.
Joel’s performances for this year will begin on May 1st at the Madison Square Garden in New York and end on December 17th at the Pepsi Center in Denver. He will perform only nineteen shows throughout the year, so fans should already start booking tickets for his concerts.
You can find a complete list of his upcoming shows along with dates, venues and ticket prices.
