Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire Join Forces – Bring Fans “Heart and Soul Tour”
Giving the fans a heaping dose of sinewy funk and silky pop-soul, Chicago – The Band and Earth, Wind & Fire are selling out venues on their “Heart and Soul Tour”. The 25-date trek started on July 15 and the touring stalwarts are recreating their well-worn hits of yesteryear. Both the bands have their own place in the industry and a fan following that is in millions. Chicago has been touring every year since its formation and that’s a huge achievement. Besides co-headlining the US tour with EWF, the band has also been performing solo, treating fans in selected cities to concerts titled, “An Evening With Chicago”.
So far six shows have been announced of “An Evening With Chicago” and the nine-piece will be stopping in Highland Park for two concerts. Ravinia Pavilion will host performances on 22 & 23 August 2015, and in the primary ticket market, both the events have been declared sold out. Chicago – The Band Ravinia Pavilion tickets are still available on ExciteEvents, selling at an average price of $169. Lincoln, San Diego, Saratoga and Northfield will also welcome the band for a single date event. The September 30 show in San Diego carries the most expensive price tag – $250.
If you enjoy ‘70s music and love horn sections then it’s not going to get any better for you than Heart and Soul Tour. Chicago and EWF have more than two dozen pop hits between them and with them joining forces, fans are going to be treated to an event of a lifetime. With the US trek already underway, Earth, Wind & Fire kick off the show, quickly settling into their funky groove. They immediately bring the crowd to its feet, powering through all-time hits like “Boogie Wonderland” and “Kalimba Story”. ExciteEvents has released complete information of the tour and tickets availability. According to the site, Mansfield will host the most expensive event of the tour, ticket price stated as $1047. Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh is also a high priced event, tickets available for $647.
On August 14, Heart and Soul Tour will stop in Bristow and the concert at the Jiffy Lube Live is the cheapest one on the itinerary, carrying a price tag of $99. After the tour wraps up, Chicago will head to Pomona and rock the stage at the Los Angeles County Fair. On ExciteEvents, Chicago – The Band & Boz Scaggs tickets are available for $151.
