Giants vs. Dodgers: The Battle for the NL West
With the new season kicking off recently, it’s still early to make predictions, but it does seem likely that the National League West will be won by either the Los Angeles Dodgers or the San Francisco Giants. Granted, the San Diego Padres have an outside chance to be contenders; it looks likely that the Giants and Dodgers will slug it out for the division title.
The Dodgers won the division last year, but the Giants went on to win the World Series as a wild card team. Considering the fact that the Giants have won three World Series titles in five seasons, they seem to have the edge in this year’s NL West. However, the Dodgers were able to pip them to the crown last season, so they could very well do that again this season. As a consequence, anticipation for their games is high, and that has reflected on the secondary ticket market as well.
The Dodgers and Giants will face-off nineteen times this season, with ten games slated to be played at the AT&T Stadium and nine games scheduled to be played at Dodger Stadium.
The average ticket price for games between the two teams at Dodger Stadium is $127.5. The average ticket price is lowest for the game on April 28th at $55.54. The highest average ticket price for a game between the two at Dodger Stadium is $230.31, for the game on September 2nd.
For games at the AT&T Stadium between the Dodgers and Giants, the average ticket price is $251.90. The lowest average ticket price for a game is $74.88, for the game on May 20th. The highest ticket price for a game between the two teams at AT&T Stadium is $391.69, for the game on the October 1st.
The Dodgers and Giants share a storied rivalry, which can be traced back to the time when both teams were based in New York. Hopefully, this season, we will see another historic chapter added to that rivalry.

I love it man! Shows if you are a baseball fan you are a fan of the game. Yes you have your team, but you don’t want stimoheng as ridiculous as this to go down to one of the historic teams in the game. I appreciate the comment. Thanks for the support! -1Was this answer helpful?
