Dave Matthews Band Embark on 24th Summer Tour
In the music world summers are not officially here until the Dave Matthews Band hit the road. Keeping the tradition alive, the Grammy Award winning band has taken its eclectic music live and is rocking the arenas on Dave Matthews Summer Tour 2015. Since its debut in 1992, DMB has been touring excessively and this year, it has gotten on the tour bus for 24 summers in a row.
Dave Matthews Band’s North American trek has made it to the “Summer 2015’s 30 Hottest Tours” list by the Rolling Stone. The rising popularity of the seven-piece ensemble has increased the demand of Dave Matthews Band tickets and fans are even willing to pay top bill as long as they get to attend the live concert. According to ExciteEvents, on June 3 DMB will be performing live in Tuscaloosa and the average tickets price for the event is as high as $1925. This hasn’t stopped the supporters from purchasing the tickets.
Despite touring for such a long time, DMB has kept its concerts fresh and unique, and that’s why it has so far sold around 19 million tickets. The band recently changed its concerts’ format and treated the fans to an acoustic first set, followed by an electric second set. Besides focusing on the staples, it also let the audience enjoy some less popular numbers, which when performed live created a wonderful impact.
Known as the biggest worldwide ticket sellers, DMB is repeating the feat this summer as well. Due to the band’s enduring popularity, more shows have been added into the tour and it has now extended till September. The average tickets price for the event is stated as $618. Its July 3 concert in Saratoga Springs has an average tickets price of $334.
DMB’s concert in Toronto has the lowest average tickets price, as ExciteEvents is offering them at $155. Other low priced events will be hosted by Maryland Heights, Bonner Springs, Charlotte and Clarkson, all ranging from $170 to $179.
