Dave Mathews Band Celebrates Silver Jubilee With a Summer Tour
With January 2016 marking the silver jubilee of the band from Charlottesville, Dave Mathews Band has announced a summer tour to remember. Dave Mathews and the rest of the band including Stefan Lessard, Jeff Coffin, Tim Reynolds and Rashawn Ross have announced that they will be taking a break after this summer tour. However, before they go on a much deserved hiatus, and in tribute of 25 years of connecting with their fans, the band has planned a memorable summer tour.
After the band’s most recent studio album, ‘Away from the World’ debuted at the top of the charts, the band achieved a unique place in music lore, becoming the first one to have six consecutive studio albums appear on the number one spot.
As the news of the band’s golden jubilee summer tour spread across the music world there was a ticket buying frenzy as fans rushed to avail what promises to be an unforgettable event. The average price for tickets of this tour has been hovering between $239 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio to an unbelievable $ 674 at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy.
