Brady admits Deflategate got to him
Imagine reaching a certain milestone after working extremely hard for a year and then have people put a question mark on it by claiming you cheated to get there. That is precisely how the New England Patriots and their star quarterback Tom Brady have felt for the past week or so.
A few days after the New England Patriots’ NFL conference championship triumph over the Indianapolis Colts, rumors began to circle that the Pats had underinflated their balls to gain an unfair advantage. The reports sent shock waves in the football world and had people talking about it everywhere.

Numerous column inches were dedicated to the incident that is now being referred to as Deflategate. It got to Tom Brady and he admits it wasn’t a nice place to be at especially with the Super Bowl just a few days away.
Brady said in a WEEI Radio interview: “I personalized a lot of things and thought this was all about me and my feelings got hurt, and then I moved past it because it’s not serving me. I think what’s serving me is to try to prepare for the game ahead, and I’ll deal with whatever happens later. I’ll have my opportunity to try to figure out what happened and figure out a theory like everyone else is trying to do. But this isn’t the time for that, and honestly I’m not interested in trying to find out right now because we have the biggest game of our season ahead.
Even though Deflategate deflated him for sometime in the beginning, Brady now claims he is over it. Now we do not doubt for even a second that he hasn’t put the entire episode behind him. But at the same time we cannot help but think that coming up with the goods on February 1, 2015 is the best way to prove it.
