The End approaches- Roaring ticket demand for Black Sabbath swansong
The End is nearing! The greatest metal band of all time has announced plans for their swansong and their farewell tour. It is set to kick off in January and cover various North American venues on the first leg. Australia and New Zealand are next on the itinerary for this heavy metal trio featuring Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi.

The Metal godfathers Black Sabbath rank among the greatest hard rock acts of all time for a good reason. They have two Grammy wins under their belt and millions of album sales, as well as many chart-topping singles and albums on the Billboard. These Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees have remained a force to reckon with throughout their decades-spanning career.
The End Tour
Sabbath fans will be sad to see the band go but since the band members feel its time to pull the plug, there is no choice left but to support their decision. The pioneers of metal say their farewells on their final tour, dubbed The End Tour, that spans seventeen dates across North America as well as an added Australia/New Zealand leg starting in the month of April.
The trek launches at the CenturyLink Center Omaha on Jan 20 and culminates at the famous Madison Square Garden on February 25. The gig at MSG will be the most expensive currently listed at an average price of $423 at our website. The second expensive concert is scheduled for another renowned venue, the Forum-Los Angeles, on February 11. Average ticket price for that gig is chalked at $312.
Conversely, Tacoma Dome will host the cheapest show of the run, featuring an average ticket rate of $160 and a get-in price of $59.
