“Hometown Holidays Tour” Promises Joy of the World
Barenaked Ladies couldn’t be more correct that due to the Covid pandemic, the last two holiday seasons were rather lonely and gloomy. This time the band is making sure to ring the holiday season with fun festivities and classic numbers. Their holiday shows are lighthearted affairs as Ed Robertson, Jim Creeggan, Tyler Stewart, and Kevin Hearn focus on acoustic instrumental arrangements. Instead of sophisticated presentation, the quartet incorporate goofy keyboard riffs and toss-off style. In their live concerts each member gets a turn to perform solo that makes the show diverse, with a lot of vocal versatility.
