AC/DC’s Rock Bust Tour Adds More North American Dates

AC DC prepare to rock Australian audiences on the last leg of their Rock or Bust Tour
Fans can’t seem to get enough of the seven-time Grammy nominated hard rockers AC/DC as they continue on their successful Rock or Bust Tour. Making their way through Commonwealth Stadium, Edmonton and AT&T Park, San Francisco, AC DC will play the last gig on their North American leg of the tour on October 9 at Bijou Theater, Knoxville.
It seems like the Australian folk will be getting a dose of AC/DC music too as the group kick off the Australian leg of their tour beginning with two shows at the Anz Stadium in Sydney in the first week of November. The Adelaide Oval, Subaico Oval and the Etihad Stadium-Melbourne will also host a couple of shows over the course of a three-week period.
At ExciteEvents, ticket prices for the AC DC tour vary over a considerable range and are subject to change. As of 3.9.2015,the highest average ticket price is for the gig in Edmonton currently selling at $772. In contrast, the cheapest gig is scheduled to take place at the Bijou Theater with an average ticket price of $81.
For the Australian round of the tour, average ticket prices have remained relatively stable over a range of $321 to $549. The AC/DC concert at Etihad Stadium-Melbourne is fetching the highest prices with a get-in rate of $449 and maximum of $699. The ageless rockers, AC/DC are all set to celebrate their 42 years in the music industry. They are currently on their Rock or Bust World Tour that will hit North America for 13 shows in August and September.
The band’s late summer trip will be the first one in five years since the Black Ice World Tour which enjoyed an extended run of 168 shows. Rock or Bust Tour is expected to break the band’s previous revenue records with the addition of global dates.
Apart from this, AC/DC will return as a headliner at the most awaited Coachella Music Festival for two weekends this year. Performance for the first weekend is scheduled on Aril 10th and the second one is on April 17th.
According to ExciteEvents, AC/DC’s most expensive performance of the tour is at Empire Polo Field, average ticket price being $944. Saenger Theater has the cheapest price, averaging at $66.4.
Once the North American shows take place successfully, there are chances that the tour will further extend to Europe.
Dates for AC/DC Rock Bust Tour
The band will kick off their stateside return as a headliner during both weekends of this year’s Coachella Festival. The first weekend of the festival will start on April 10 and Coachella tickets for a three-day pass currently have an average price of $1102.20 on the secondary market. The second weekend, starting April 17, has an average price of $733.02.
AC/DC’s most expensive date of its upcoming North American leg will be at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton on September 20. That show currently owns an average secondary price of $573.37, which is 124.1% more expensive than the tour average, and the get-in price starts at $168. BC Place in Vancouver will be the band’s second top-priced show on September 22, with tickets averaging at $561.23 and get-in price listed at $130 on the secondary market.
